Easy Egg Tart Recipe

I make it! I make it! After years of phobia, I finally overcome it with this recipe. An egg tart recipe that I found from other blogger. I got the recipe and bought a can of evaporated creamer for quite some times. Last weekend, I decided to bake this recipe. When I saw the egg tarts were nicely came out from my smart oven, I was so happy and feel worth it to bake them in front of hot oven on this super hot weather day. This few weeks, the weather in Penang was so hot. It makes my body hot, temper hot! Thank God that the egg tarts turn out nicely, or else somebody might need to sacrifice and listen to my complain again.

 

Curry Chicken Recipe | With Instant Curry Chicken Paste

This is the first time I cooked curry chicken in my life, I cooked it with instant "A1 curry chicken paste". The first experience with successful and delicious curry chicken, I am very confident to cook for second time in future. With this instant curry chicken paste, you do not need to get headache with quantity of chilli, onion, garlic, and curry powder. With simple instruction shown behind the packing, what you need are 1kg of chicken (or beef or lamb), 200ml of water and 120ml of coconut milk. I cooked with 8 chicken wings and 3 potatos. Besides, I added 5 chopped shallots (small onion) for better taste. Firstly, pour in the instant curry paste and stir for few minutes, add in chicken wings, follow by potatos. Stir evenly for another few minutes, pour in water and let them boil. When the chickens are well cooked and potatos are soft, add in coconut milk. Stir evenly and you can have a pot of very delicious curry chicken in front of you.

LifeOrI had too much meat recently. Yes, I mean not only my food consumption, but also my body. My body fat is hard to reduce, everyday sitting in office after heavy lunch gained me a lot of weight.

Recently, we went for vegetarian meals for lunch to reduce my guilty after consumed so much meat and oily foods. The aunty who served us said the shop is already opened for more than two years, but I did not realise it until my colleague brought us there.

Among all my chiffon cakes (exclude those failed one), I would like to share on Matcha (green tea) chiffon cake recipe first. It was my first (so-called) successful chiffon cake after my hard pray to God. It was my big motivation after failure that caused big dissapoinment on last black sesame chiffon cake. It gave me courage to bake more chiffon cakes after "pass this difficult test".

CCSomething About Myself with Chiffon Cake

Some time ago, I have been working on chiffon cake. I failed almost all times when come to chiffon cake, like this one. Even though I had attended a part time baking course on baking chiffon cake, but when bake on my own, I still failed to handle it. I am not sure of what causes them failed, at the end I gave up on chiffon cake and any cakes that need folding egg white into egg yolk mixture, because I handled this so BADLY.

RasCheese_10It was my nieces birthday again on last two weeks. Yes, again...she is now 10 years old and her sister whose birthday also fall in May, is 7 years old this year. Time flies, I am getting older and they are getting bigger. Our family normally celebratetheir birthday at the same day since both birthday fall in May. We always say they are "sipek ho mia" (super good fortune) because we celebrated their birthday yearly. Unlike my generation, I only get to celebrate my birthday on my 12th and 18th birthday.

Burger_2Have you ever eaten rabbit meat? ...deer meat...and camel meat? When Camus told me rabbit meat is delicious, my reaction: "yarrrkk, how can we eat rabbit meat?"

One day, when I taken lunch at Kompleks Bukit Gedung, Bayan Lepas, I found a burger store that sells weird weird types of burger, such as lamb and rabbit. Beef burger and chicken burger are very common to me, but lamb and rabbit are new to me. I informed Camus and brought him there for dinner.
