Mini Pandan Bun Recipe

All the while, I enjoy blog walking at baking blogs. Recently, I gathered many recipes from baking bloggers, some are breads, some are cakes. I found a special recipes at many baking bloggers' blog, it is call "微波面包", if you translate directly, it means "microwave bun". I believed the name had successfully misleading many people and give impression that it is bake with microwave, but in fact, it is not. It uses conventional method which you need to bake in oven. The speciality of this recipe is that it gives a very soft texture to the bun. I first try with pandan bun recipe, it looks simple but in fact quite time consuming. Rolling each mini bun to swiss roll pattern spent quite long time. Although it is time consuming, but I really enjoy the making process.

 

Rice Cooker Sukiyaki with Instant Rice

To cook, add sukiyaki sauce plus some water into rice cooker. Power on rice cooker, when boil, add in pork slice and chicken, then mushroom, then vegetables. When everything is cooked, serve hot with instant rice. To cook instant rice, tear off a little part of rice pack, add in some water. Put instant rice in microwave oven for 2 minutes. Done! It tasted exactly like what you cook in rice cooker. It is soooooo convenient! Prepare an egg in small bowl, pour some hot sukiyaki soup to cook the egg.That's my rice cooker sukiyaki with instant rice and half cook egg. This took me less than half an hour to be ready.

After worked for one whole week, finally the day that many people enjoy the most, Saturday has come. Yes, I like Saturday, because it is the day that I can do what I like. Eat, drink, play, happy (吃喝玩乐). Haha…



 

 

Today I woke up late, about 9:30 in the morning. It was so great that I was able to sleep and sleep and sleep on my bed until … 自然醒, without alarm clock, anyone or anything that wake you up and Yes, it was a Good Start for the day!

Next, taking my own sweet time, read some newspaper while enjoying my coffee and biscuit. Michael Jackson was in the headline, many of his fans around the world are concerned about the news. Err, I am not his fans, but may God bless him and rest in peace.

After that, I plan to cook bihun soup. After get the ingredients from super market, I started cook my lunch. I bought chicken, minced pork and beef, big prawn and vegetable. This is a simple and easy to prepare lunch.

How to cook? Just boil a pot of water, when the water is boiled, put in minced meat and chicken. When the meats are almost cook, put in prawn. Add in some salt, pepper and soy sauce, lastly put in the vegetable and cook until done.
Pour the soup and others into a bowl of rice noodle, sprinkle with chinese parsley and garlic oil. Serve immediately!
