It was my nieces birthday again on last two weeks. Yes, again...she is now 10 years old and her sister whose birthday also fall in May, is 7 years old this year. Time flies, I am getting older and they are getting bigger. Our family normally celebratetheir birthday at the same day since both birthday fall in May. We always say they are "sipek ho mia" (super good fortune) because we celebrated their birthday yearly. Unlike my generation, I only get to celebrate my birthday on my 12th and 18th birthday.

6 Days 5 Nights Relax at Chiang Mai (Day 4) | 废人废生活的清迈6天5夜行 (第四天)

Day4 Today we will check out from Baan Namping after 3 nights stay here. Today breakfast came with 2 choices, one American breakfast and one soup rice. We get one each. Soup porridge was good but compare with American breakfast, we still preferred American breakfast as the bacon tasted really good. We spent our morning relaxing in hotel and proceed to Chiang Mai city with taxi (Song Thaew) arranged by hotel's owner. Soup rice Taxi driver dropped us in front of our hotel in city, Baan Hanibah. This hotel located in walking distance to Sunday market, a super big and famous night market in Chiang Mai city on every Sunday. After checked in to Baan Hanibah, we booked a package to elephant show on next day, then we went to Sunday market. Song theaw Chiang Mai wall Day tour package Kaosoi restaurant, Wat Phra Sing, Wat Phan Tao, Wat Chedi Luang and Sunday market (red lines) location map While we were hunting for our lunch, we found one local shop selling local food. We got ourselves a bowl of Chiang Mai famous Kao Soi and tomyam seafood, together with a coconut drink. Kao soi is a fried noodle in curry and coconut soup, with thick coconut taste and slightly sweet. Compare with Penang curry noodle, the coconut flavour is much stronger. Add some chilies paste if you like spicy. Kao soi Tomyam is added with coconut too, delicious. It is different compare with our local tomyam, which is more towards sour and spicy. Wat Pra Singh is one of the most famous temples in Chiang Mai. We walked around temper without enter to temper hall as need to pay for entrance fee. There are some stalls selling cloth, CD, foods at side of the temple too. I bought myself a pant from one of the stall here. Wat Pra Singh We started our shopping at Sunday market after visited to Wat Pra Singh. It was really big market as mentioned by people who had been there before. Many of the things are repeated at few different stalls. Sunday market The same cuttle fish uncle from Saturday market Yakisoba Local dessert Fried worm / cacing Cute pao Delicious bihun with pork skin Sunday market We get some pants from here too, but mainly we bought foods from here. Wat Pan Tao and Wat Chedi Luang are located along Sunday market too, we visited these temples on Sunday night. Wat Chedi Luang Wat Pan Tao

Instant Ramen Museum | Osaka, Japan

Instant Ramen Museum is located at Ikeda-shi, Osaka. You can experience making your own cup noodle here. If you would like to make noodle from sratch, here is the place for you too. Besides, the history of the chicken ramen development, which is the world’s first instant ramen, and the changes in many products over the years can be found here too. Entrance is free unless you want to buy cup noodle or attend the making noodle class. I visited this museum to make my cup noodle. After seeing through the ramen history and development process, I bought two empty cups from vending machine inside the museum, 300 yen per cup. Then I was arranged to sit at "art class corner" to draw and decorate my cup. After finished, I proceed to collect my ramen and choose the ingredients I like. You can choose 4 out of 10 ingredients. Then you can choose your soup base before proceed to final packing. It is fun to make your own cup noodle, I did not join the making noodle class as it is reservation at earlier time. Overall, it was a fun experience here and I will enjoy my cup noodle with Camus after return to Penang.

DurianCheeseCake_2"Is this a durian cheesecake? A piece of durian cheesecake in Continental bakery cost RM7++." My brother ask me this question when I pass him a durian crepe cake that I made few weeks ago.

I would say that the durian cheesecake tasted superb with creamy and smooth texture. I would strongly recommend this recipe to all of you.

But due to I do not blend the durian, it effected the texture. I would suggest to blend the durian first if you prefer a very smooth texture of cake.

.Quoting Clarence:
my texture turns out to be quite watery and soft instead of thick and solid, i think it could be due to the eggs that makes it very watery.

I notice that when i add in the eggs one by one, the batter turns very watery.

Hi Clarence, If you have added in more durian, the moisture of the cake also become higher. Even worse, if the durian is watery. Try to bake slightly longer to remove the extra moisture
