Sarawak Laksa Recipe

A pack of Sarawak laksa paste was brought back from my Sarawak colleague since 1 year ago. It was kept in my kitchen cabinet over a year until it hits the expiry date. At first I was thinking to throw away the paste after few months of expiry but at the end I just cook it as do not want to waste this "imported" laksa paste. To cook Sarawak Laksa is easy but you need to prepare lots of stuffs. From cooking chicken soup until cutting vegetables and remove prawn shell, that was enough to occupy my one whole morning. But everything is so worth when I saw everyone is enjoying this imported and special Sarawak laksa that was cooked by Camus and myself.

Plain Cheesecake | Baked with Rice Cooker

Cake can be baked in several ways, by using an oven which is the most common way. I knew that cake can be steamed with gas as well. But have you ever tried to bake a cake with rice cooker? Basically I do not hear people in our country bake with rice cooker, and I was surprised to see a book that introduces how to bake a cake with rice cooker. Without further consideration, I bought the book.    

 

Almond Nibs Biscuit Recipe

If you like almond and crispy type of biscuit, you will like this recipe. This is a very easy recipe with very simple ingredients. Do this especially when you have left over egg white as this recipe calls only for egg white without egg yolk. I will share the recipe with one egg white, just multiply the recipe with number of egg white if you want to do more.

ChapattiBeside puff pastry, Kawan brand also came out Chapati. It contains 10 pieces of chapati in a pack. I bought one pack of it last few weeks and make my own breakfast.

It is very easy and flexi recipe, just to share my way of making this chapati. Hope you will enjoy it.

 

Ingredients: (for 2 persons)
2pcs chapati
2 eggs
2pcs cheddar cheese
2pcs fish fillet
some salad/vege
some salad oil/mayonese
some cooking oil

Method:
1. Fry chapati in a pan with few drops of cooking oil until you see small brown dots on chapati.

2. Fry beaten egg in pan with 1/2 tbsp of cooking oil, when it is almost cooked, place a slice of cheese on top. Remove from pan when cheese is melted.

3. Fry fish fillet until cooked.
4. Wrap egg&cheese, fish fillet and vege with chapati, add many drops of salad oil/mayonese.

5. Served and enjoy!
