Organic White Bitter Gourd / Bitter Melon 白苦瓜

Recently, during our visit to my uncle's farm, we get to know a new type of vegetable, bitter gourd in creamy white colour. It was an organic bitter gourd that did not use any fertilizer. My uncle gave one to mom for take away!      

 

Longan Konnyaku Jelly (Crystal Jelly)

Konnyaku jelly is a "QQ" type of jelly. I made this during our house party. This is a favorite dessert that my little niece likes to make. To make this, just follow steps at the pack. First, mix konnyaku powder with sugar. Boil a pot of water, when the water is boiled, slowly pour in konnyaku and sugar mixture, stir the mixture at the same time. Get ready jelly mold and your favorite fruits. When jelly is boiled, pour into jelly mold. Remove jelly fom mold when they are completely cool. Keep in fridge before serve.  

 

Fresh Sashimi | Hypermarket Japan

I have just passed my first weekend in Japan. This time I am in Osaka. For my first shopping, I bought a lot of foods, not for one day, but for one week. Since this time I will at here for only 3 weeks, so I bought some to bring back to Malaysia too. On Sunday, I bought a pack of sashimi for my dinner. 6 types of sashimi in a box. Although it is from hyper market, but all are very fresh. I like salmon and prawn the most. Just now, I tried the pre-pack sesame cold noodle. During summer, they have different kinds of cold noodle. This cold noodle is instant pack that I bought from same hyper market. Taste not bad too. Others food that I bought include can coffee, yakult, biscuits, egg pudding that I like so much, fruit juice, milk tea that I miss so much, varient kinds of pocky and more. Caramel egg pudding I wish I can go for next shopping soon so that I can grab for more foods! Japan foods, I miss you so much!!!

MaeSalong_1Camus's brother recommended this restaurant to us, saying the environment is very nice and comfort. He told us foods there are not consistent, sometimes good, sometimes bad.

Last weekend, thinking on what to eat for dinner, we decided to give this a try. With GPS guidance, we arrived at there smoothly.

We were very surprised and excited when we arrived at there. Environment is very good to me. We like Bali style and their design is very closed to Balinese design. We snap few photos and quickly order foods as many people were dining there.

After ordered foods, we continue walk around to snap photos. About 10-15 minutes, the foods are served.

Kalabu mango was yummy.

Siam style steam fish was yummy. The soup was sour and spicy.

Fried vegetable "huan zhu hiok" was yummy. They plant it themselves.

I think we were lucky as foods are all very YUMMY! The style and taste they cook are very similar to original Thailand food where we eat in Thailand. Foods are towards salty taste. We were satisfied and happy with the dinners.
