Durian Crepe Cake Recipe

After durian butter cake, I have tried with another new type of cake, durian crepe cake. I ate my first mille crepe during my stay in Japan. From there, I get to know mille crepe, a very delicious and special cake. Last year, I ordered one peanut butter mille crepe for Camus on his birthday, and it tasted heavenly. I wanted to make my own crepe too but due to time concern, I have no chance to make one. This time, since it is durian season, I make a durian crepe. Besides frozen cheese cake, this is another type of cake where you can make it without oven. The way of making the crepe is the same as making pan cake. You just need to fried the crepe piece by piece, prepare the filling and stack the crepe together with the filling until you get a perfect cake.

Peel apple skin, cut into small cube. 2. Steam apple in boiling water until soft.   3. Mash with spoon.4. Mix well with breast milk.   I am very happy to see her grow healthily with food I make for her. USSR_11We just had a short trip to Langkawi recently. It is an unforgetable trip with some good and bad experience. Thank God that it was a raining day on the first day when we just arrived. The weather was great and cooling, we really enjoyed it. We stay at Berjaya hotel, it is a very relaxing resort that can temperary keep us away from our busy life in town. On the first night, with "suggestion" from "GPS", we got to know this Russian restaurant at Harbour Park nearby our hotel, it is USSR restaurant.

After look through the menu, we decided to have our dinner here. We ordered 3 different sets of meal.

Menu

I was expected to see a steak when I order Beef Strogana (RM29), but when the food was served, opppsss, my "steak" was cut into so many pieces. From there I knew, that was "Russian food". The beef was a bit hard for me, but the taste was delicious and creamy. The waitress recommend for an extra bowl of rice to eat with this, but I choose not to have it.

If you don't like creamy, you may choose Delssian Village (RM30), the beef was cut into small pieces also and top with cheese, and it was baked. I personally prefer this.

Camus ordered Fish in Mon-ry (RM28), the fish is fried and served with slice tomato and top with cheese as well. It was very delicious too although tasted a bit salty.

For drink, Camus ordered plain homemade yogurt drink (RM8), it was very thick and pure milk taste. I personally don't like it as I do not like milk. I prefer coconut (RM6).
