I saw a very cute mini red apple when I am shopping in OIOI shopping complex last weekend. I was looking for various kind of fruits at that time and unexpectedly I saw those mini apples. I was so excited and thinking to buy it but at the end I walked back with empty hands as we were too hungry and rushing for dinner.

I was regretted for not buying the mini apples and keep thinking on the cute apple for few days. Frown Yesterday after work, on the way back home, we stopped by a shop to buy fruit. Out of expectation, we saw the cute apple again. Without further consideration, we walked to the counter with a pack of mini apple. Yee hee.. A pack of 14 apples cost 298yen, which is about RM11.

To me, the reason I bought the apple is because they are cute, but in fact I don't really like apple. The BIG red apples in Japan have never attract my attention but I just love those cute mini apples.

The most excited thing after bought the apples was the photo session, I managed to capture the cute mini apples with my camera. Aren't they cute?

The mini apples characteristics:
Size: it is about 2 to 3 times smaller than normal apple, about 3-4cm in diameter.
Shape: exactly same as normal big apples.
Colour: same as normal big apples, but it turned yellow easily after exposed to air.
Aroma: very light.
Taste: sweet and slightly sour.
Texture: mealy

Other than the size, there is nothing special about the applesTongue out. I believed it is more suitable to use them to make apple pie, tart or jam due to the mealy texture. Anyway, I just like it. Hehe Kiss
